Shipping boxes

When you ship products you mainly want to ship them in a shipping box. The advantage of a shipping box is that it is sturdy and protects the contents well.

Also, shipping boxes have the advantage that you can put a logo on them, making them easily recognizable by customers. Unfortunately, it can happen that a package gets lost by a parcel service. By adding a logo they can easily trace the package back to its owner and return it if necessary.

Traditional shipping boxes

Shipping boxes come in many shapes and sizes, as well as in the way they are folded. One can think of the traditional shipping box that you have to tape shut on both the top and bottom. These boxes are often a bit cheaper but require more time and material to assemble.

The advantage though of these boxes is that they can be fitted with a crease line. With this line you can slit the boxes, making them smaller. As a result, you may need less filling material and the delivery service can take more packages in its bus, which benefits the environment.

Shipping boxes with Pop & lock system

You also have boxes that work with a kind of Pop and lock system. These boxes are quick to assemble, and can be fitted with an adhesive strip. This allows you to quickly close the box after assembly. You can also choose to add an extra adhesive strip. This allows customers to close the box after opening it in case they want to return the item.

The advantage here is that the product is returned in a sturdy box. This will save on breakage during returns and is also convenient for the customer.

Shipping boxes with crease line

You also have shipping boxes that are easy and quick to fold together. You will find these mainly also in our standard assortment shipping boxes. These boxes feature crease lines that allow you to easily and quickly fold the box together. However, these boxes do not feature a closure at the top. Therefore you will have to tape the boxes closed to ensure that these boxes close.

Letterbox boxes

Letterbox boxes are, as the name suggests, boxes that fit into a mailbox. If you want to send smaller products then these boxes are ideal. In addition to these boxes being sturdy, many transportation companies offer a discount the moment you register this as a mail item that fits in the mailbox.

Another advantage is that in this case the customer does not have to be at home when the delivery is made, so in this case a package is less likely to be taken to a collection point or returned, should the delivery driver be unable to deliver it several times if the customer is not at home.

Shipping bags

Shipping bags are an ideal way of shipping non-fragile items. Compared to boxes, these bags offer almost no protection, but have the advantage that they are often inexpensive, take up little space in your warehouse and are the fastest way of packing products.

LDPE shipping bags

Therefore, shipping bags are made of LDPE which is a stretchable film, which means the bags will not tear easily during the shipping process. In addition, these bags often have an adhesive strip with a permanent closure. This closure can also only be used once, when opening the bag it will tear, so you can see if it has been opened.

Paper shipping bags

Also see more environmentally friendly options available. These include paper shipping bags. Compared to LDPE bags, these bags are not stretchy but are made of a fairly thick paper. This will ensure that the bag will still not tear easily.

LDPE sealable plastic bags

Unfortunately, when you ship products, returns are inevitable. It may happen that customers return the products with opened packaging.

As a company, you obviously don't want the products to be “unsellable” and have to be destroyed because the outer packaging is torn. Many companies therefore choose to replace this packaging with an LDPE bag. And possibly resell these products as returned items at a discount.

This is where our LDPE bags come in handy. These bags are competitively priced and are more stretchy, so they fit around most items. After this, you can close the bag using a sealer, making the bag completely sealed and making it easy to sell the product.

If you sell products on certain marketplaces or in certain countries, it is not always possible to put a product in a transparent bag. These bags will then have to feature a suffocation warning.
